connettere notebook a desktop


Ho preso un notebook toshiba m-70 e vorrei connetterlo al mio desktop, il fatto è che sul portatile c'è installato windows xp home e sul desktop invece windows xp professional.
Devo anche prendere una scheda di rete wireless sul desktop perchè voglio fare una lan senza fili, ma non ho idea di come procedere.
Ho anche il router un dlink-502t ma forse non va bene?
