Aiuto! medieval total war II mi crasha nelle battaglie


ho installato mtw2 ma non appena passo alla mappa tattica delle battaglie il gioco mi crasha ingloriosamente mandandomi un messaggio d'errore del tipo "errore non specificato"......qualcuno ne sa qualcosa?
i miei requisiti di sistema sono:
AMD athlon XP 3000+ 2,17 GHz 1,00 GB ram
scheda grafica ATI radeon 9600 xt sapphire 256 mb ddr memory
